Beauty Buys| February & March [Pic Heavy]

My beauty goodies lately...

The end of 2011 and beginning of 2012 have been big for me and my family.  I've shared a few things but there is still so much to tell you.  For now, though,  I'll share that as of March, my self-imposed spending ban has been lifted.

I had placed myself on a limit of $45 for miscellaneous and beauty purchases from November until February after Chief suggested that I tighten up on my...ahem..."investments".   The first items pictured are all that I bought in February and the rest in March.  Lots of reviews coming soon.

This Month's Inspiration Vol. I

So where the heck have I been over the past two and a half weeks?  Well I'll tell ya:  Pinterest!  It's my new found addiction.  I've been on Pinterest day in and day out scouring the pins for my next inspiration/project.  Everything from home decor, to cooking. to hair. I'm all over it and I'm having such a great time trying out the new things I've found--especially the recipes, my my my! (I've only been on for two weeks and I've already got over 250 pins.)

And in honor of my new found (P)interest.  I figure I'd share with you a few things that have caught my attention.  Hopefully it will inspire one or two.
I love this because I'm always telling people "Did you check the sign at the door?! We don't do that here!"  This sign needs to be at the entrance of my home.  This is my "sign at the door".

People always ask me, ‘You have so much confidence. Where did that come from?’ It came from me. One day I decided that I was beautiful, and so I carried out my life as if I was a beautiful girl … It doesn’t have anything to do with how the world perceives you. What matters is what you see. Your body is your temple, it’s your home, and you must decorate it.” —Gabourey Sidibe

Speaks for itself.

See the good in every situation, no matter what.

Set out to accomplish every goal you've set. No matter how long it takes.  Because it's worth it.  Nothing is more than the satisfaction of knowing that you made it.
Don't ever give up.
